When we hit the trails we chose to wear the Fox Flux helmet. The Flux is a super stylish (thank geebers, finally! A helmet that looks the part!!!), light and strong lid designed for All Mountain (AM) loving riders (having said that, one of our crew loves his Flux so much that he even wore his on the recent Sydney to Gong ride, on a sexy road bike nonetheless!).
The Flux features more coverage at the back of the head, similar to say an old skool dirt jump/skate style helmet, but with far superior ventilation (we count 20 vents!) and much lighter in weight (372g). The Flux also features a great adjustment system which makes it way super easy to fine tune to your head. The chin straps are highly adjustable and they mount to the side of the helmet (instead of inside of it) which makes this helmet much more comfortable and the padding keeps sweat out of your eyes.
