1. Instructions on how to claim and the offer form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

2. Claims are only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating authorised Garmin retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim.

3. Promotion commences on 28/10/2011 and ends for purchases at 5.00pm AEDST on 31/12/2011 (“Promotional Period”). Final claims close at 5.00pm AEDST on 15/01/2012.

4. To be eligible to claim, individuals must, during the Promotional Period, purchase one of the following selected nüvi GPS models:
- Edge 800 Bundle (HRM Version)(010-00899-22)
- Forerunner 610 Bundle (HRM Version)(010-00947-12)(each referred to as an “Eligible Product”)
from any authorised Garmin Australia Fitness Stockist in Australia. See garminfitnessredemption.com for the complete list. Purchases made through any online bidding or auction websites are not permitted.

5. To claim, individuals must visit www.garminfitnessredemption.com follow the prompts to the promotion claim page, input the requested details, upload a scanned or photographed copy of their purchase receipt(s) and a scanned or photographed copy of the serial number(s) (located on the GPS device) and submit the fully completed online claim form by 5.00pm AEDST on 15/01/2012. Claims received after this date will be deemed invalid and ineligible. In the case that an individual cannot provide an electronic copy (either scanned or photographed) of their purchase receipt(s) and serial number(s), they can submit their fully completed online claim form without uploading a copy of their proof of purchase, however, they will then be sent an email from the Promoter containing their completed claim form. These individuals must then print the completed claim form, attach a physical photocopy of their purchase receipt(s) and serial number(s) and send together to: “Garmin Fitness ” Offer, Garmin Australasia Pty Ltd, Attn: Promotions, PO Box 684, Seven Hills NSW 1730, so that it is received by last mail on 15/01/2012.

6. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence and to disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

7. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims will be deemed invalid.

8. Multiple claims permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) claim permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each claim must be submitted separately and in accordance with claim requirements; and (c) a maximum of three (3) claims per person is permitted.

9. Claimants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) and their original serial number(s) for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to a gift. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to claim. The purchase receipt submitted can be a copy of the relevant tax invoice or paid receipt for the purchase of the Eligible Product. A hand written receipt, delivery docket, rental or lease agreement, or Lay-by deposit or part payment receipt will not be accepted as a sufficient proof of purchase. Hand written and/or incomplete serial numbers will not be accepted.

10. Successful claimants will be notified by email. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. If the Promoter receives a claim and the claim documentation does NOT meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, the claim will be deemed invalid and the claimant will be sent email communication to advise the reason for the non-approval of the claim at that point in time. If an opportunity is given by the Promoter to resubmit the claim, or provide further supporting documentation, this is to be completed within 30 days of the email communication being sent by the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for any emails that are lost or not received by the claimant at their specified email address.

12. Every valid claim received will each be awarded with the gift of a nüvi 30 (part number 010-00989-35) valued at $149. Gifts will be awarded via direct mail within 4 weeks of receiving their notification of successful validation.

13. If the gift is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the gift with an offer to the equal value and/or specification.

14. Gifts are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

15. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

16. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows a claimant to automatically claim repeatedly is prohibited and will render all claims submitted by that claimant invalid.

17. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

18. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim or offer that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in gift value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) use of a gift.

19. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and Claim is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. Claimants should direct any request to opt-out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the Promoter.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

3. The Bill Cunningham New York Ticket Giveaway will take place between Thursday November 3, 2011 to Monday November 7, 2011, and involves the entrant placing an electronic form to go into the draw.
4. The Promoter will determine the winners (x10) at its absolute discretion via random draw on Monday, November 7 at 12:00pm.
5. The prize available to be won, throughout the Bill Cunningham New York Ticket Giveaway period, are 10x double passes to the Bill Cunningham New York film.

The 2011 Goldsprints will be held under the highest roof of The Standard (formerly Lo-fi) in Taylor Square, with bands playing and DJs spinning in an effort to spur the riders on to greatness. The event is open to all comers (there is a male and female division), with heats running from 8:30pm - 10pm and finals starting from 11pm.

“Anyone can come down, sign up and have a spin, though it will be first in as we do have a limit”, Joshua Capelin, director of the Sydney Bicycle Film Festival said. “You can challenge your friends, your workmates, or perhaps a total stranger on the night. It’s all about having a lot of fun with a bit of cheeky competition thrown in for good measure”.

“This year it’s themed Riders on the Storm. The crowd yells at you, and you forget about the world for all of 25 seconds. It’s insane... your legs don’t work afterwards.”

A Goldsprint is a bicycle rollers racing and social event where riders on stationary bikes compete against each other in front of spectators. The name and the event were founded by Adrien Weber, a passionate cyclist and owner of the TurbinenBräu brewery in Zurich, Turbinenbräu. The event was named after their beer brand "Gold-Sprint". Goldsprints use forkstands so that the riders don't have to balance, only pedal as fast as they can. This provides an easy way for anyone to try Goldsprints.*

The 2011 Goldsprints event is produced by the Bicycle Film Festival as part of the Sydney Rides Festival and is supported by MC Cyclery, Onitsuka Tiger and Little Creatures.
