The Maroubra Sunday Bunch Ride is a weekly ride for the more advanced/serious cyclist who doesn't take it all too 'seriously'. The ride typically consists of a couple of laps of the La Perouse circuit (including laps of Centennial Park - although the route does occasionally vary) and takes in a mix of climbs and rolling flats.
This is NOT a "no-drop" ride; riders should come expecting a challenging road ride and bring the proper equipment (we cover 50-60kms at an average pace of around 28-30km/h). Bring your road/race bike, helmet, supplies to fix a flat, nutrition and plenty of water.
Meet at the MC Cyclery Maroubra store for a 7am rollout - then coffee and renowned brekkie rolls cafe by 9:15-9:30am at the Centennial Park duck pond. Note: Called off if raining. Must be over 18 years old to join the ride.
